After more than six months of back-and-forth trying to receive the lamp I paid 374 for, Im genuinely at a loss as to how this company operates.

The first lamp finally arrived after a four-month journey from China severely damaged. Two months after that, the replacement arrived with the wrong colour lampshade and central pole and was deemed by my qualified electrician as a house-fire waiting to happen due to serious safety issues.

Despite repeatedly requesting a full refund, Kwokings customer service has only responded with: offers of more spare parts, irrelevant conversations with suppliers, and a 5% discount voucher, which is frankly insulting given the circumstances.

At this point, I am actively exploring my EU consumer rights, as no customer should be expected to accept an unsafe electrical product, nor spend half a year chasing a company for the item they paid for.

DO NOT PURCHASE ELECTRICAL ITEMS FROM KWOKING.

Based on my experience, their products and after-sales processes raise serious safety and consumer-protection concerns.

They will likely reply here with the same generic responses theyve left on other critical reviews, but I strongly advise avoiding this company entirely particularly for electrical goods.

When things don't work, they're terrible

I ordered a 110-120V light for US installation because it was very creative & different. Shipping from China took an expected duration.

The light did not work at all. It was labeled for 220-240V installation. Customer Service by email replied once daily over 16 days, each time with more ridiculous requests, from photos of each individual light to a video of the light not working. My electrician will not install a mislabeled light.

Responses from customer service was that the vendor guaranteed the light would work with different bulbs. At no time was there acknowledgement that they sent the wrong light. Their solution was for me to buy different bulbs that would have required rewiring the entire light.

Fortunately, my credit card company determined a charge back was appropriate.

Bottom line: I do not recommend this company unless you're willing to gamble your money, delay your project, & spend hours emailing their customer service. If things work, that's luck.

I received a message from Ecom Handling Ltd. to say my order would arrive on February 11.

They were expecting my order at around 12pm and they would then send me a one hour slot within which I would get my delivery. I was nover given a one hour slot and I did not get the delivery. I have tried to get in touch with them but have received no reply.

I would be grateful if you could find out out why my order has not arrived.

The order number is Order 722451 The money for the order has been withdrawn from my account. I shall ask the bank to cancel the money if I do not hear promptly.

I purchased a $100 light fitting from them because the specifications said it took GU10 bulbs. After paying our electrician $225 to install it, much back and forth with the seller, multiple photos and many purchased bulbs (approx $315 with proof of purchases) that still do not fit - the seller has finally advised that the correct bulbs the fitting takes are E27 from G45 to G50.

These bulbs are not available in the smart lighting line that we use throughout our home and we would not have purchased the fitting and paid to have it installed if this was the case. We have requested a credit of $100 AUD for the inconvenience caused along with the fact that we never would have bought the fitting if the website had listed the correct specifications in the first place.

We were denied this request and have raised a PayPal dispute. So disgusted with the service and lack of appreciation for accurate specifications when selling items on their website.
